… The IRCT also wishes to pay tribute to the outgoing Chairperson, Claudio Grossman, who during his remarkable tenure as the leader of CAT oversaw the development of innovative working methods for NGO access and engagement with the Committee and new normative understandings of victims’ right to rehabilitation and documentation of their allegations. The IRCT encourages the new Chairperson to ensure that the coming years see an enhanced focus on improvement of domestic data collection and on making the Committee’s work more accessible to victims and the general public…
