We mourn
08 July 2015, Dhaka. BRAC deeply mourns at the sad demise of Syed Humayun Kabir, a founding member and former chairperson of BRAC governing body. He passed away yesterday, July 7, 2015 at 6:36 PM, at Apollo Hospital, Dhaka at the age of 83. He was suffering from pneumonia. He was BRAC’s governing body member since 1972. He was the chairman of Renata Limited and trustee of the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD). He founded Sajida Foundation, an organisation to serve the poor in peri-urban areas…
