Maasai Elders Unite To End Female Circumcision
Magadi, Kenya, 22 May 2014 | Ten Maasai cultural elders from Entasopia Sub-Location have vowed to end female circumcision at a ceremony organized by Amref Health Africa in Kenya yesterday. The denunciation ceremony paved way for more than 250 girls to undergo an alternative rite of passage, graduating to womanhood.
